Juicy J - Chronicles of the Juice Man

Pimptro - Juicy throws out some North Memphis shot outs and briefly touches on the Project Pat incarceration situation

North North Pt. 2 - This is a follow up to Project Pats old song North North and also the only song that Pat appears on. The beat is decent it has a horror movie sounding feel in back ground but nothing to ground braking. Juicy spits the first three bars and basically reps North Memphis. Pat comes with his patented flow over a change in the beat. Pat spits an above average verse that defiantly outshines Juicy’s three verses.

Who Da Buckest - This is just another three six get crunk get buck type song, it’s the same old thing we have been hearing from them for the past five years. The beat is sub par at best its hard to describe but its nothing special. Hypnotized new member Frayser Boy is featured on this song I personally aint feelin this dude I have heard a good eight or so songs with him now and he has yet to impress me. He doesn’t have a unique flow or any thing special to bring to the table. The song is just about how they the buckest ones up in the club it’s the type of song that just gets lost in the background.

Gimme Head - I bet you can guess what this song is about. Yup it’s another tribute to oral sex from the hypnotized camp. Juicy, Frayser and La Chat perform the song. The beat is kinda catchy it got my head nodding a bit but the reframe is just plain stupid “Gimme head, gimme head, gimme head till I’m dead” Juicy and Frayser talk bout how they want some head then La Chat comes in and gives her rebuttal to the boys, claimin that the hardest niggas are always the first to eat the cat. This song is one of the better songs on the album.

Pimp Talk - This is just an intro to the next song. It has song dude talking bout the difference between a hoe and a whore. It’s just a little Three Six humor thrown in the mix

Like A Pimp- This song has a catchy almost cartoon, kiddy feel to the beat. La Chat is featured again on this track. Both Juicy and La Chat spit a few bars about how a pimp acts and dresses. Both of their lyrics on this song are weak.

Killa Klan - On this track they sample Bones old classic Mo Murder. The phrase Mo Murder is repeated in the background during the hook. The beat its self has a real dark feel to it. Crunchy Blac and Lord Infamous are featured on this one. The whole subject matter of the song deals with the animosity that the Posse has towards the judge and Jury that convicted Pat on his parole violation. Crunchy comes with his almost retarded lyrics that we have come to love and Infamous spits a tight verse. I enjoyed the song simply for the fact that it gives a little insight to exactly what went down with the Pat situation.

Smoke Dat Weed - Of course there has to be a drug song on any hypnotized album. The main part of the beat is a sample from Linkon Parks “In the End” They just steal the whole piano part from the song. Juicy goes off on a verse about how he loves the bud, then Lord infamous comes in and talks about doing every drug from weed to perkaset to Crystal Meth and ends his verse by saying “Lord stays high as Fuxk if I were to take a piss test I would melt right threw the fuxking cup.” This is a chill song, but one of the better ones on the album.

Buck Gangsta Beat - The title says it all. This is just a DJ mix of old Three Six samples tossed together. At the beginning there is a guitar used over the beat, which is somthin new for three six but it comes off nicely. Then you here beats from other old Three Six songs. Some Pastor Troy samples are also thrown in there. I don’t know how they got the rights to use is voice, but they have been using it a lot lately.

Mafia Niggaz - This track is the mafia song for the album. It features everyone on the label with the exception of Pat. The beat is average at best. No one has any real tight verses. I would say this is the weakest mafia song to date.

Name It After Me - The beat on this song has an old 70’s soul type feel to it, with an old R&B singer saying “The Game is not the same” Threw out the song. Juicy and Frayser perform the song. They both talk bout how Three Six has changed the rap game. At the end Juicy starts talking about Pat again and how the judicial system is just a trap for the black man. Then he goes into the traditional “what’s coming up next on hypnotized” speech.

Gimme Sum - This is another dark beat with a mysterious sound to it. Frayser and La Chat are on this one with J. They talk bout riddin and set niggas up and all that. Again this song is nothing special.

Soldiers From The Northside - This is another DJ mix. This one is better than the first one on the CD. It sounds like somthin you would have heard on koopsta kniccas album. It has a bunch distorted vocal samples from some old school Three Six material. I enjoyed this track it’s a good one to roll around and listen to by your self on a dark night, it just has that scary type feel to it.

Dick Suckin Hoez - This is the third DJ mix for the CD. Once again it features a bunch of old Three Six samples for both the beat and the vocals. It’s a pretty cool junt if you like Three Sixes DJ mix songs.

Overall the entire Album is kinda weak, but I guess that can be expected since it is just one of their “Underground” albums. If your fiendin for some new stuff from the hypnotized posse camp go check out DJ Paul’s new one “For da Summa vol. 16” if you don’t already got it.
