Im
comin thru once again reviewin' another 2001 released cd cuz aint
shyt out there right now that excite me enough to sit down and do
a whole review on it. Make way for this boy Big Tiger from Swisha
House who is releasin his first cd. This one is called I Came To Wreck
and it features everyone from Lil Flip and Slimm Thug to Archie Lee
and Big Pic. This was a regional success for the H-Town representer.
Intro-Gettin his point across, this boy "came to wreck"
Hoggin Da Lane feat. AD, Blyncyde, Al Bolden-Straight out the
gate, got this throwed beat just goin off. The beat alone make this
jam somethang that you would listen to over and over. Big Tiger come
up with the first verse shows ass with his clean flow. The hook is
real catchy somethang that I feel would get the damn club crunk. The
rest of the rappers on here just keep the shyt flowin real crunk and
make this one of the best songs Ive heard come outta Houston last
year. A definite hit. 5/5
2 Much Money feat Lil Flip and Slimm Thug-Another throwed beat
with an anthem feel to it. You can see from the title its a ballin
track and you know Flip come up to bat ready for that. He hold it
down, flowin at different speeds and got his word play at the top
of his game. Slimm of course come off strong, one of the most talented
youngstas I feel comin outta Houston right now, he stay in step with
Flip. Tiger come off again tight, he adapts to the feel of the beat
real well and he dont play too much of the back to two of Houston's
stars. 4.5/5
Move Around feat Archie Lee-This track is crunk and the beat
just feeds to that again. Its kinda a choppy feel to the flows by
the rappers. Its a "beat ya ass if you get in my way" type track somethang
like "Back Back" from Lil O, thats the feel I get from it. 4/5
We feat Archie Lee and Big Pic-The beat again is somethang
that definitely stands out on this track again. The way everyone smoothly
ride the beat makes this shyt jam. They all just fit they flow to
the beat so well on this shyt. 4.5/5
Go Live feat Lil Mario,AD, Blyncyde-When I first started playin
this track, I wasnt feelin it at all until the beat start bumpin and
they started flowin. Its got "Lowrider" sampled on this and I aint
never felt that song. But the beat just hit hard, its a simple beat
but again the way everyone adapt they styles and flows to fit the
beat make it listenable. 3.5/5
Tiger Is His Name feat Archie Lee and Blyncyde-Ahhh maan, this
is the jam right here. The beat got the military drum roll keepin
shyt real throwed. The hook is real military minded too, "There once
a guy from the dirty dirty third and Tiger was his name-o". Just another
throwed track. 4.5/5
Ex Girlfriend-This is some real shyt right here, Tiger talkin
bout how he got fucked up by his gal and he just talkin shyt to her,
talkin bout what he should do. Some real drama is what Tiger bring
to this track, he aggitated on this track. 4/5
Ballers In Da Club feat Archie Lee, AD and Big Pic-Real laid
back ballin type track, talkin bout what they got and lookin clean.
The rims, the screens, the drank, you got it all here over a tight
laid back beat. Slow and choppy flows is what make this track turn.
3.5/5
Grippin Grain feat Charlie Boy, AL Bolden, Blyncyde-Hit the
road and grip the grain, this is somethang you could just ride round
lookin good with. Charlie Boy from the Freestyle Kings jumps on this
bitch and just tears the whole track up. His singing on the hook is
just throwed off, yall need to pay attention to this boy in the future
too. Just a real good laid back track. 4/5
Bake A Cake feat Blyncyde and Al Bolden-Wasnt feelin the beat
or hook at all on this one. The only thang that keep me interested
in this is the flows. A medicore track. 3/5
X File-Big Tiger get back on it with this track. A real up
tempo beat with clever wordplay and smooth flows again. Also got a
good hook. "Call the laws, we stole the game". LOL. 4/5
Do Tha Fool-This shyt go off for real. Its got a real party
type beat to it, just a real up tempo feel to it. This is a real throwed
track and Tiger hold his own throughout the track. One of the only
times we get to peep em on his own and he really keeps the cd flowin
with this jam. 5/5
All We Do Around Here feat Big Pic-This another tight track,
its got alot of shyt goin on it. Both Tiger and Pic come down hard
on this track. They talkin bout everythang they doin, pimpin hoes
and slammin candy doors. A real tight track. 4/5
Steal Off-Maan Tiger comin solo again on this track and again
he throw it down hard. This is more of a hard feel to it, somethang
that got prolly incite some shyt or atleast he talkin bout if someone
do you wrong you gotta check that muthafucka. A real throwed track
that fits the beat perfectly. Maan this shyt jam. 4/5
Money Ho's and Clothes-Another up tempo track with just Tiger
on it. Its talkin bout all this shyt he got like the title say. The
beat keep this shyt rollin real nice and Tiger just come again where
he flow so smooth over the beat. 4.5/5
I Came To Wreck feat Lil Ron, Archie Lee-Here is the title
track and they got it as the last track on the cd. This is one of
the tightest tracks on the cd. Everyone come so damn hard on this
shyt, Lil Ron makin his first appearance and he hold it down. The
beat is throwed off on this track. This is an impressive track. 5/5
Overall I would have to give this Big Tiger 4.5/5 atleast. It could
easily get a 5/5 because some of the songs that I felt wasnt worthy
of a 4/5, the ones that was 5/5 was throwed to the point they didnt
fit on the meter no more. He has made alot of appearances on Swisha
House mixtapes and they prior releases, but to come off with a debut
cd like this is remarkable. To be honest with ya, from this track
and hearin some of his shyt on other cds, he is in my opinion one
of the best rappers on Swisha House. He dont get as much respect as
some of the others on the label, but he deserves it, he came with
one of the best cds of 2001. He can do a track with a gang of fools
and hold it down or he can do his shyt solo and still come just as
hard and that aint somethang you hear alot from in the game right
now, most of the time a rapper just gon fade when paid with other
artists on the same song. Overall, anyone that aint got this cd, be
sure to pick it up when you at the store.
